Empowering Parents

Series 2011

 

GAP

Growing As Parents

 

GAP is an 8 week series with 2 hour sessions for parents with children from birth to 10 years.

 

· The sessions will discuss the developmental stages of their children

 

· Help parents instill consistency and appropriate boundaries within their family.

 

· Provide support and encouragement for parents.

 

Sessions are held 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesdays

July 13, 20, 27, August, 3, 10, 17, and 24

 

September 7, 14, 21, 28, and October 5, 12, and 19

 

November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, December 7 and 14

 

Parent Trap

 

Parent Trap is an 8 week series with 2 hour sessions for  parents with children from ages 10 to 18 years.

 

· The sessions look at why it is hard to say “No” to our children while learning why it is important to do so.

 

· Will assist parents in enhancing the structure and consistency in their home.

 

· Will provide support and encouragement while offering tools to becoming mentoring and assertive parents.

 

Sessions are held 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursdays

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

NO CHILD CARE IS AVALIABLE.
