Skills for Life is open to any youth aged 13 to 18. It is an 8 week series. The program provides young people with information and support as they learn life’s necessary skills such as:
· Job readiness skills: time management, team work, goal setting, work ethics, how to complete an application, etc.
· Self image: how to deal with stress, sexuality, relationships and related issues.
· Conflict Mediation: team building, communication skills, how to deal with conflict in a healthy way.
· Education: Study skills, organization, volunteering and college exploration.
· Tolerance and diversity classes
Anger and Stress Management Skills
· Drug and alcohol education
· Financial education: Checking account, rent–to-own, credit cards, etc.
All participants must be pre-registered to attend!
