Teen Court is designed to curb deliquency behaviors for frist time offenders.  It is an alternative to the Probation Department.  When the youth have completed the Teen Court Program they will have no deliquency record.  Referrals come from School, Probation, Police, and Juvenille Court System. 

Want to Volunteer?  Volunteers are 12 to 18 years of age.  Volunteers hear actual cases and sit in as Jury Members, Defense Attorney, Prosecuting Attorney, and Baliff.  If you would like more information on how to volunteer or to get a Teen Court Volunteer Application please email Melissa Keighin, m.keighin@ysbofhuntingtonco.org
