The YSB was founded in 1987. The primary goal of the agency was and still is to provide programs and services that address the complex issues of young people and their families. The four core roles that were identified in 1987 continue to be the focus of our many programs and services today. They are: Delinquency Diversion Youth Advocacy Information and Referral Community Education
They Primary objective of every program or service provided is to help instill a sense of competency, usefulness, empowerment, and belonging to all that are served. YSB AT WORK YSB is there for teen parents who need clothes for their children through the use of the On Your Way Up Store. YSB is there to empower, support, and encourage parents as they face the joys and challenges of being a parent through our Empowering Parents classes. YSB is there for youth who just need someone who will listen and care through Safe Place/ Host Home services and other delinquency services. |
