Safe Place is a 24/7 crisis intervention program for children and families. If you see the Safe Place logo on any building you can go inside and trained staff will contact us to help you. There is a number to call for all other times of need anytime. |

Volunteer Families open their homes to children who need to take a break from their normal family environment to help bring that child and their family back together and open doors to communication. |

Providing training and information on helping those at risk of suicide. This program is designed to train our community to be alert to the signs of those with suicidal thoughts and to be able to intervene and help those at risk of contemplating or completing suicide. |

Huntington County Suicide Prevention Task Force |
|
Teen Court is a juvenile crime deterrent program that uses adult and youth volunteers to try non-formal charged offenses in a court room of the juvenile’s peers. An adult judge presides over the hearings, while youth volunteers sit in as jury members to decide appropriate sentences for juvenile offenders that are referred to the Teen Court Program. |
